I am almost ready to replace my old 210 gal tank
3 years old  240 lbs  live rock , 2-3 in sand bed
the new one will be BB 145 gal
can start direct with the live rock and the water from my old system ?

I have some sps and lps corals and two clams  also I want to keep two cardinal fish , one anthias and one blenny
if I do this in one day I will have success or disaster ?

your answer will be very useful for me
thank you in advance

You can certainly use the liverock and water provided you take out the water you want to use prior to removing the liverock and making a mess.

I don't see any reason why you could not be successful with this transition.

thank you for the quick response !
the reaction of live rock in the new place is the main worry  ..

I will support the new  system with a 50 gal tank  old water and some biological surfaces in it , for the first 15 days – is it good idea ?-

I am not sure I understand the question here.  Could you rephrase?

That sounds like a fine idea.  You could even make that 50 a permenant fixture by making it a refugium or a frag tank.
