cheers, my friends

It's been a busy year as usual, but a blessing to have good work!

I am very proud to announce the release of my latest project:
C . . . the Journal of Aquatic Science Travel and Adventure

The image work is stunning and aimed to impress as well as educate... the quality of construct of the mag itself is of the highest quality - it's the same or better cover stock and body pages than your favorite perfect bound books! This journal is printed on 100# gloss laminated stock with thick 80# pages to hold all the ink from those beautiful pictures!

I'd be much obliged if you'd take a moment to look over the Table of Contents and Cover and consider subscribing. I dearly need the support of fellow hobbyists and dedicated admirers of the reef!

Plus... I'm hoping to earn enough to pay for the strong coffee I need each day to be able to continue to mentor on the message boards, write articles and share information at large. Yes, I do reckon that I owe the Arabica bean growers a thanks in my mags and books

with kindest regards,

Anthony Calfo

Hi Anthony:

Big congratulations and good luck.  The journal looks great.  Hopefully everyone you have helped over the years will repay the debt a bit with a subscription.  How can you go wrong...balance the karma and get a really sweet journal at the same time!!?

I have one question though...I am probably a little old school (or maybe just old), but is there a number I can call and order?  I just don't really trust Paypal, et. al.  Please let me know!!  Thanks.

Thanks for your very kind words, my friend. Indeed, without intending to preach... I do agree and feel as you do, I think, about the nature of goodwill, karma and the like. Generally... good things happen to people with good intentions/efforts and a positive mindset. And even when that is not so, it's still a fine way to live!

I'm not taking orders by phone, though, for a few good reasons... not the least of which is my often heavy travel schedule (and slow phone/order filling by me subsequently). I turned over all my book sales to dealers and distributors for this very same reason (was spending over 10 hours per week on the phone and packing boxes for books that I only earned around $1 per on... doh!). I also want/need every affordable way to manage the project as possible, and manual phone orders are indeed brutal on time and office work.

Please consider the mailing option if the secure online purchase is not appealing to you.

kindly, Anth-

Hi Anthony,

Congratulations with the release of your new project, the magazine. I’m pretty sure that lots and lots of readers love to discover the various aspects of our hobby and anything that’s related to it. The variety and style will make this a unique Magazine.

Your team deserves a compliment already. Off course I fill in the subscription!

I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

Cheers,

Ron... you do not need a subscription, my friend... you are the featured Master Dutch aquarist reporting from Europe in the first issue! I will be sending your copies hot off the press

Steve... I could eat sushi for breakfast! And I'm not kidding... looking forward to MACNA

an addition that i would pay extra for is all the photos in high res digital on CD. i would love to have them displayed as a screen saver along with all the great pictures i have collected of reef tanks from the various forums.
