I just wanted to pass a warm welcome to everyone viewing this forum. To say were gonna get wet here is an understatment.
I love marine fish; colorful ones, tiny ones, ugly ones, predators, their all beautfiul to me, and hopefully everyone here who appreciate fish will understand that once we've picked out that cute little nemo for your home tank, (YOU) are ultimately responsible for providing the best care, husbandry, and quality of life for your new fish.

In this forum we can discuss pretty much every aspect of keeping fish
My hope and intention in this forum is to further everyone knowledge, including mine, on keeping those wonderful marine fish we love in our aquariums. Fish husbandry issues, fish feeding, compatibility, and finally fish breeding.

With our oceans being harvested for these gorgeous fish, we've got to do be proactive. Consider breeding marine fish at home. Believe it or not many marine fish can be bred in the home aquarium, and while i don't recommend you consider your main display tank the right place to breed fish, we can discuss all the ins-an-outs of raising fish at home. Clownfish, gobies, dottybacks, cardinalfish, seahorse, and even some inverts are well within the hobbyists abilities.
I look foreward to many many fruitful and engaging discussions

Frank,

Welcome aboard!!! Glad to see you here as well. I'm sure I'll be asking a ton of queestions down the road... My wife is asking for a fish only tank of her own. !

ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds;and to him who knocks the door will be opened.

Frank,

I want to thank you for opening my eyes up to a whole new side of this hobby.  I had never even thought about fish breeding until I saw you in Boston last month ( or was it 2 months ago, whatever). I may in a year or 2 give a try at breeding Cardinals.  Sounds like it might be fun and rewarding.

Fabulous! It's great to find people who love the fish! Sometimes I get perplexed when folks are more concerned about their corals than their fish.  Don't get me wrong --I love my corals, too & do realize it's a free country & all - but for me it's all about the fishies!

Thought I would just stick my head and say hello. looking forward to some interesting discussions.

Have recently had a wipe out due to whitespot in the breeding system, lost my clowns and a couple of other fish, but the baby cardinals are doing well at the moment. So fingers crossed these pair up and start breeding soon.
